GUBI presents the Elgio Ottoman, conceived as a natural extension of the Elogio modular sofa system designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa in 1974. Faithful to the collection’s distinctive identity, the ottoman shares its grounded geometry, architectural lines, and inviting softness while introducing greater freedom in the way spaces can be shaped. It allows for more fluid compositions, moving beyond traditional linear arrangements. Used independently, integrated into the seating landscape, or positioned to connect larger configurations, the ottoman expands the versatility of the Elogio system. Reintroduced by GUBI, the Elgio Ottoman combines modularity, comfort, and architectural clarity while preserving the calm, timeless character of the original collection.
