Produced by HAY, the Mimi ottoman was conceived by British-Canadian designer Philippe Malouin as the natural complement to his collection of sofas of the same name. Its compact, sculptural silhouette is characterised by a large, slightly domed central cushion, enveloped in a supple cover that drapes over the frame like a throw, combining precise stitching with a relaxed look. With a fully removable cover, Mimi has been designed to last: its removable cover can be maintained, replaced or renewed over time, in keeping with the brand’s commitment to longevity. Functional and versatile, this ottoman can be used just as easily as a footrest alongside a Mimi sofa as it can as an extra seat or a standalone lounge piece. Crafted from a solid wood and plywood frame, filled with polyurethane foam and a combination of recycled fibres and granulated foam, it is available in a selection of high-end fabrics that complement the entire collection.
